I’m so excited to talk about the book of the month for July, Oona out of Order! I stumbled across this book on Goodreads and I decided to give it a shot. I’m totally into books like this and I was so excited to read it.
We are still in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, also known as covid 19. The world is such a crazy place right now.
Summer is here and people are trying to get back to somewhat of a normal life. Beaches are open, restaurants are opening, it really is such an interesting time.
That’s why I’ve really been trying to escape from reality with every book I read.
I loved Oona out of order so much it’s hard for me to know where to start! It was a book that I just couldn’t put down and I found myself reading it non stop.
What is Oona out of Order about?
Oona out of order is a fun and easy read about a woman who lives her life non chronologically. She’s basically a time traveler
Every New Year, Oona wakes up in a different year of her life. She doesn’t know how it happens, but there’s nothing she can do about it.
Her mother is aware that she is a time traveler. So it’s not like she is dealing with her special gift all on her own.
Not only is Oona a time traveler, but she leaves herself little tips and notes to help her deal with and understand what’s going on each time that she leaps.
This book is an incredible story that really changed my perspective on life, the people in my life, and how valuable our time truly is.
It takes us through many years of her life as we are introduced to the love of her life, her mother, her assistant, and it takes us through her struggles and also the advantages and disadvantages of time travel. You can purchase Oona out of Order here.
Any twists?
I’m happy to say that there were a couple of times that I was pleasantly surprised by the events in the books.
It was unpredictable in my opinion, which I like a lot. The things that happened I didn’t see coming and that made the book more enjoyable for me.
To be honest, I wish it were longer. I was a bit sad when it ended. I wanted to read more about Oona’s life. The book was truly entertaining.
