My Super dreamy trip to the Tulip Fields -Burnside Farms

Aren’t you so excited that it is spring? I think I have spent more time outdoors in the past 2 weeks that I ever have. Winter is fantastic because I love being cozied up at home with a candle burning but being out in nature in the spring really makes me so happy!
So there is this farm an hour away from my house that I have wanted to visit for years. Burnside Farms has a gorgeous tulip field in the spring, and giant sunflowers in the summer. In the past I have been unable to go for various reasons but last year was bad for all farms here in Virginia. We got so much rain that crops couldn’t grow properly and only about a quarter of the Tulips bloomed last year. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to go.
Fast forward a year later and I finally made it! And it did not disappoint! I told my girls that we were going, and they were excited as well. On Wednesday, we packed up our things and headed out! The flowers were beautiful! So many colors! Instead of doing much talking about it, I’m just going to post all the best pics that I took. If you live in my area, I highly suggest you make the trip this spring or next spring.
