When I was a little girl my favorite thing to eat for lunch was a grilled cheese sandwich. My mom would call me inside from a long morning of playing and I would enjoy a perfect golden sandwich while watching my favorite television show before going back out to play.

One of the reasons why I love these sandwiches so much is that they are packed with fresh and flavorful ingredients. If you want to make a fun and girly day out of it I suggest dressing up and going out to the farmers market in the morning to gather all of the ingredients.
Once you are getting ready to cook, you can listen to beautiful music and romanticize the experience of cooking. Making it into an experience and an appreciation of nourishing yourself rather than just making yourself a quick meal. I love making this for my family on the weekends for lunch.
