I hope you are having a great weekend!
Last night, I went on a date with my husband. We never go on dates, so I was really excited about this one. I love to laugh and believe it is a very healthy thing to do, so I absolutely could not wait to check out Kevin Hart’s new stand up WHAT NOW?
I first heard about the show a couple months ago and instantly decided I was going. This is unusual for me-I hate the movie theater. And rightfully so, the first thing that my husband and I noticed when we walked in the theater was that it stunk. It smelled like germs, just gross. I much prefer to watch movies on the couch at home-where I don’t have to pay 20 dollars for a drink and some popcorn.
Anyways, I have always been a fan of Kevin Hart.
It seems like he’s a really down to earth guy. It appears that he doesn’t get too wrapped up in his fame and money and simply like to have fun and enjoy life. As someone who has been watching him for as long as I can remember, I am just so happy for him and wanted to support him all the way by going to the theater and helping him reach his goal of making WHAT NOW the biggest comedic show ever to hit theaters.
Over the summer, Kevin went on tour for WHAT NOW. The movie was filmed in his home city, Philadelphia. He sold out an entire football stadium which to me is just outstanding.
The movie is set in a 007 theme and begins with Kevin and Halle Berry playing poker in a casino, that scene was too funny and had me dying laughing from the start. Finally, they made it over to the stadium so Kevin was able to do the show. Honestly, I laughed from start to finish. I love his work, I love his energy, I am just so glad that I went and supported his journey to the top.
He reached his goal by the way. It was announced earlier that what now is the highest selling comedy show of all time. How fantastic!
I highly recommend you go and see WHATNOW? In theaters everywhere 🙂 Check out the trailer HERE
Let me know which part was your favorite. It’s been 24 hours and I’m still laughing. Way too funny.
Enjoy your Sunday funday
