Glitter and Rose Water play

It doesn’t get much girlier than this. We’ve been spending a lot of our summer outside playing. The other day I cleaned out my craft storage and found tons of glitter. I also happened to have a lot of rose petals that I had no idea what to do with.

I figured I might as well turn it into something fun for the girls.

I filled one of their old empty sensory bins with water then gave them two cups of glitter. Red and gold are the colors I had the most of, so I figured I would try to get rid of it.

They enjoyed playing with their cups and stirring the water up to watch the glitter settle.

This was a great activity for a hot summer day. Did your kids enjoy it?
